National Xinyao Songwriting Competition 2019
In 2019, our school submitted a total of 14 entries for the annual XINYAO National Songwriting Competition. A collaboration between MT department, EVG's Songwriting Programme and our very talented students, it was great fun coming together to make our very own original Xinyao songs; several students even received awards for their brilliant works!
We are very proud of all of our students' entries, and kudos to Max Kok Chee Foong for winning 4th place in the Open Category and 2nd place in the Creative Category, Lim Shern Sze and Eustacia Pang for winning 2nd place in the Open Category, and Carlyn Gan and Sylvia Tan for winning 4th place in the Open Category!
